Personal Care Assistant, ONE HOUR

Duties of the PERSONAL CARE ASSISTANT may include:

• Assistance with light food preparation, feeding set up
  
• Sponge bath and personal hygiene
• Laundry assistance and kitchen assistance when needed
• Ensuring patient takes medications on time
• Assistance in setting up doctor appointments or picking up medications
• Application of skin and hygiene products such as lotion, powder
• Ensure safety during transfers
• Companionship
• Personal Care Assistant: CPR certified, experience with working with adult/elderly population, completed professional background check

Not included in service:

• Administration of medications such as injections, patient or family member will need to administer
  
• Taking patient to doctor appointments or transportation 

Payment needs to be made prior to appointment/service. Payment is non refundable if home visit is made and patient is not home, sick, unavailable, refuses visit or does not answer door. Assistant will wait no longer than 15 minutes from scheduled time. If the assistant had to wait outside for 15 minutes, the visit will then be reduced to 45 minutes. Please request visit at least one week in advance to see if there are available slots within POLK COUNTY AREA, FLORIDA.
